HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN MUSIC:
Some of my oldest and greatest memories are of music. I’ve been singing as far back as I can remember. I really decided to start signing professionally in high school. Shortly after, I had started an original band called Breakin’ Hunderd. 4 CD’s and about 6 years later, they decided to go and play Emo music. I don’t have anything against Emo at all, but it’s just not my style man. I’ve been rockin’ out ever since and I’ve never looked back!

FAVORITE TOOLS FOR YOUR TRADE:
I’m a vocalist so my “gear” is kinda minimal. Which is fine considering my wardrobes for the bands is enough by itself. I do have my Shure PG58 wireless mic and mic stand. The rest of the time I’m just hired muscle, moving the rest of the bands equipment around. Man am I glad I didn’t decide to be a drummer!

WHAT QUALITY ABOUT MUSIC MAKES IT ALL WORTH IT FOR YOU:
I’ve always loved original music. There’s almost nothing better than writing something that people can understand on many different levels. You always have a certain memory or emotion in mind while writing it. But, I tend to write very vague. I like to let the people that are listening to my music be able to interpret it however they see fit. For ever person, for every song, there’s a different way in which we all feel it. For me, it’s all about putting yourself out there. Putting my stamp on something and really going out on that stage and making peoples jaws drop. It’s an awesome feeling when someone comes up to you after the show and tells you how a particular song affected them, how it made them feel. And then 3 seconds later someone else tells you that the same song made them feel completely different. Just knowing that I’ve impacted that person and left some sort of impression on them is such a great feeling. It doesn’t get much better than that.

WHAT CAN LONG ISLAND EXPECT FROM YOU IN 2012:
Well Bottoms Up! is in full force. Look for us all over Long Island this summer. And I’m quietly working on my first original band in over 6 years. Some serious players with a ton of talent. It’s kind of hush hush right now, but when it hits it’s gonna hit big. So pay attention, because you’re not gonna want to miss this!!
