Is it just me or do these weekends seem to get shorter and shorter?

Due to the amount of endless opportunities of live music on the weekends Friday through Sunday seems a bit unpaired for all of this Long Island talent.

For instance last night, two favorable Long Island acts collided on the stage of Nappertandy’s in Miller Place. The Pamela Betti Band followed up to Long Islands own Southern Bell, Randy Jackson of Zebra! Jackson took the stage with the Pamela Betti Band for a roaring Led Zeppelin number. Although this night was all about Toys For Tots fundraising there were no children around except the spirit of the adults in the room reliving their childhood memories through the music!

Tonight is another example of how the music scene is blowing up on Long Island. There are gigs going on everywhere. From Ollie’s to The Waters Edge there is nothing but good old fashioned rockin’ going on. A Tribute Night of Rock at Lulu’s in Port Jefferson. Adrenalize Def Lepp Tribute Band with their friends Blackout and Flesh-N-Blood (Poison and Scorpians). Get all the details here.
