After almost a year of being away from Long Island there are certain things that stand out that I really do miss. People say you miss the three F’s the most: Family, Friends and Food. While I can agree whole-hearted with that I strongly want to fit an M in there for Music. I have yet to cross off Nashville from my bucket list (maybe 2018 is the year!) but I’ve been around. LA, TX, now here in FL. There is one hidden gem on Long Island and it is irrevocably and without denial the music!
The music scene on Long Island is many things. We can all comment and share our experiences whether good, bad or ugly but we cannot deny the talent and community for what it is, a large pool of musicians that have amazing and for a lot unseen talents nationally!
In honor of the musicians and after being away from The H Note I am back! Now as The H Notes. This series will kick off features of some of the best talent on Long Island and create a path of exposure from Long Island to Florida and beyond through exposure.
